Pamela M. (Nardone) Calvani, 82, of Peabody, passed on Friday July 25, 2025 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lynn to the late Gino and Muriel (Gilmore) Nardone, she was raised in Lynn and graduated Lynn English High School Class of 1960. She was the beloved wife of Paul D. Calvani, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.
Pamela worked as a hostess at Hilltop Restaurant for 25 years and also as a fragrance consultant for Thierry Mugler Perfumes for 20 years. She enjoyed vacationing with her family in Tuftonboro, NH at their home on Lake Winnipesaukee. She also enjoyed cooking for her family, especially her famous chocolate cake and apple brownies. With unwavering strength and love, she touched everyone she met with her kindness.
Pamela is survived by her husband Paul Calvani of Peabody, son Barry Calvani and his wife Christine of Peabody, son David Calvani and his partner Elizabeth Dellaporta of Lynnfield, her grandchildren; Breanna Calvani, Caitlin Calvani, Christopher Calvani, Mariella Calvani, Alyssa Calvani, her siblings; Barry Nardone, Paul Nardone and his wife Lyn, Barbara Nardone, Edward Nardone and his wife Julie, and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her parents-in-law Ralph and Eugenia Calvani and her brother-in-law Ronald Calvani.
Visitation for Pamela will be held on Thursday July 31, 2025 from 4-8PM at SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME 426 Broadway (Rt129) Lynn. Pamela's funeral will be celebrated on Friday August 1st at 10AM from the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 11AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church Lynnfield, with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Pamela may be made to the Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center by visiting www.bidmc.org/giving or by check made payable to "Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center" with "Pamela Calvani & Bone Marrow Transplant Program" in the memo line. Contributions can be mailed to: Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center or BIDMC, Attention: Office of Philanthropy, 529 Main Street, 4th Floor, Charlestown, MA 02129.
