Pamela Gale Campbell, age 72, of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from cardiac failure, with her beloved husband by her side. Born at home on September 23, 1953, nine miles southwest of Eufaula, Oklahoma, she was the cherished daughter of Odell Wilse and Gladys Evelyn (Rhodes) Jones. She grew up in Hanna, Oklahoma, where she attended school and graduated with the Class of 1971. On June 4, 1971, Pam married the love of her life, Gary Michael Campbell. She first met Gary the summer before she started first grade and told her parents, at just 5 years old, that she was going to marry that “cute little cotton-top boy”. Together, they spent a lifetime building a beautiful marriage and raising two daughters, Angela and Reagan. For the past 18 years, Pam & Gary were blessed to live next door to their children and grandchildren, Jenna, Caden, and Michael, creating countless lasting memories and affectionately calling their corner of the cul-de-sac the "Campbell Compound”. Pam earned a Bachelor of Science in Education at Northeastern State University. She began her career as a business teacher at Claremore High School and later taught kindergarten in Catoosa. After six years of teaching, she opened Agape Child Care in Verdigris, which she owned and operated for two years with “Mr.Gary”. Pam later earned a Master of Science degree in Accounting and went on to retire as an accountant in Claremore. A devoted Christian and longtime member of Claremore First Assembly of God Church, Pam’s servant heart and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She dedicated her life to helping others and gave freely of her time and resources. She was a faithful supporter of many charities, some including Samaritan’s Purse, Wounded Warrior Project, Disabled Veterans National Foundation, Veterans of Foreign Wars, John 3:16 Mission, Jentezen Franklin Ministries, Shriners Children’s Hospital, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Pam is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Gary; daughters: Angela Smalygo and husband Kelly, and Reagan Robertson and husband Rusty, all of Claremore, Oklahoma; brother brother Ronnie Jones and wife Nakina of Brush Hill; and her three treasured grandchildren- Jenna Smalygo, Caden Robertson, and Michael Robertson. She is also survived by her nephew, Rodney Jones and her beloved dog, Molly. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jimmie Jones, and an infant sister. A celebration of Pam’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Kelley Memorial Chapel at Hunn, Black and Merritt Funeral Home and Crematory in Eufaula, Oklahoma with Reverend Amy Trober officiating. Pam’s loving spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, in honor of Pam’s many courageous battles with cancer.
