Pamela Yvonne "Pam" Justus

Pamela "Pam" Yvonne Lusk Justus, born on October 18, 1955, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, North Carolina, at the age of 69. Pam was a gentle and selfless soul with bottomless love for her family, and an appreciation for life's simple joys. A graduate of East Henderson High School's Class of 1974, Pam went on to dedicate her professional life to nurturing young minds and supporting families as the Parent and Teacher Coordinator for Etowah Elementary School.
Her passion for early education impacted many and will leave a multi-generational impact on her community. A nature lover, Pam was at her happiest in the outdoors, finding beauty and tranquility in flowers and gardening. She loved thrifting and antiques, and found great joy in collecting pieces that had seen their beauty go undiscovered.
Pam was the epitome of love and devotion as a wife and mother, and truly lived for her family. She leaves behind her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, Stephyn "Steve" Justus, her son Cody Justus, his partner Kaylee Shutts, her son Mitchell Justus, and his wife, Michelle Barton, who were the foundation of all her joy and the pride of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Euston Lusk and Suzanne White Lusk, whose loving memory she carried fondly. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit and memory will continue to inspire and bring joy to those who knew her.
