Pamela "Pam" Jean (Seay) Blalock, lifelong Seminole County resident, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the age of 69.
Pam was born January 17, 1953 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Clyde Elmer and Edith Irene (Harper) Seay. She was raised in Seminole County and graduated from Varnum High School in 1971. Pam was a loving homemaker and worked at Wrangler for several years until her department closed. She loved shopping especially at Dillard's where she would spend hours finding all the best deals. If someone needed something particular, she would be able to find it and you could count on her having gotten a great deal on it! Her collection of clothes, shoes, purses and jewelry were quite extensive. Her home and person were always the latest styles. Working outside was a great passion of Pam's. She recently had her daughter Katie pick up some new big pots and had decided what to plant them in and where to place them. She would love to just sit on the ground and pick weeds for hours. One year, they accidently grew watermelons and treated each new melon like a baby. She would get so excited seeing them grow and finding new baby melons. After that first year, they would grow watermelons and okra. Pam also loved to get on her riding mower. She said it was like therapy for her. Even after cutting part of her finger off on the mower blade, she still would get back on when she was able. Her fur baby Jasper was the light of her light. After he passed away, her grand fur babies helped fill that hole left from Jasper.
Survivors include her two daughters, Kerry Robertson and husband Shane of Seminole and Katie Therrien and husband Carl of the home; one brother, Ronald Seay of Seminole; two grandsons, Jacob Blalock and wife Amanda of Shawnee and Gage Robertson and wife Hope of Ada; great-grandchildren, Raylee and Weston Blalock and Taylor Ringle; nephew Kevin Lyle and wife Christine of Gaithersburg, Maryland; niece Brittany Hamilton and husband Brian of Chico, California; several cousins and a host of other family and friends.
Pam is preceded in death by her father, Elmer Clyde "Speck" Seay; mother, Edith "Irene" Dunn and her husband Marvin and a sister, Sherry Chambless..
