Pamela Nicole Uphold, 37, of Westfield, passed away on January 3, 2024, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born September 21, 1986, in Tipton, she was the daughter of Robert “Eddy” and Gloria (Boles) Uphold.
Pamela “Nicki” could light up a room with her beautiful smile. She loved her family and friends deeply, but above all else, she loved her children; her children were truly the loves of her life. She cherished her music, and had a true talent in carpentry work, specializing in installing flooring. Since 2004, Nicki expressed her adamancy of being a donor for when that day would come. She was able to do so and went on to save three people’s lives. In her death, she became a hero. Her family and loved ones will forever be proud of her.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Nicki are her two children, Swayzie and Kruze Hart of Greenwood, IN; two sisters, Amanda (John) Sculley of Evergreen, CO, and Whitney (Kirstin) Uphold of Sheridan, IN; four brothers, Zackaria (Elena Slye) Uphold of Jolietville, IN, Edward II Uphold of Westfield, IN, Samuel Uphold of Westfield, IN, and Evan Uphold of Sheridan, IN; five aunts that loved her deeply, Pamela Grimes of Goldsmith, IN, Sally (Jerry) Zink of Indianapolis, IN, Eve Showalter of Jolietville, IN, Leslie (Michael) Warman of Anderson, IN, and Laura Lynn Phifer of Tipton, IN.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children and her great love, Jay Hart; her parents, Robert “Eddy” and Gloria (Boles) Uphold; her grandparents, Geraldine “Jerry” and Edward Uphold, Shirley and Leonard Grimes; and her sister, Karolann Uphold.
