Patricia Nolan Jordan
April 9, 1936 – September 13, 2025
Patricia Nolan Jordan, known to everyone simply as Pat, passed away on September 13, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 89. Born in Farmerville, Louisiana, on April 9, 1936, Pat lived a life as vibrant, stylish, and unforgettable as she was.
From her earliest years, it was clear Pat was destined to stand out. A proud graduate of the very first class of West Monroe High School, she carried her drive and determination into a career that spanned Louisiana, New York City, and beyond. She worked as an executive at CK Associates in Baton Rouge before moving to New York to join her son Greg at his acclaimed design firm, Greg Jordan, Inc. Pat's quick wit, impeccable eye, and unshakable confidence made her as indispensable in business as she was magnetic in life.
Pat was, quite simply, a force. Always dressed to the nines, she lit up every room she entered. Friends from New York to Los Angeles and everywhere in between were drawn to her warmth, her humor, and her gift for storytelling. Dinner with Pat was always an event, whether at a grand restaurant or a favorite local spot. She wasn't just the life of the party; she was the star of the show, and she held that place effortlessly.
Her passions were many: travel, dining, fashion, reading, and movies. She delighted in taking her grandchildren, Michael and Matthew, around the world, teaching them to appreciate adventure, culture, and, most of all, the joy of being together.
Of all her joys, family was at the center. She loved her sons, Greg (who preceded her in death) and Jeff, with a fierce devotion. She was immensely proud of her grandchildren, Michael and Matthew, and found immeasurable joy in her great-grandson, Liam. Watching him grow was one of her life's greatest pleasures.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Jordan, her beloved son, Greg Jordan, her parents, J.D. and Ella Nolan, and her sisters, Lila Simpson and Mary Jo Gates. She is survived by her son, Jeff Jordan and his wife, Dolly; grandsons, Michael and Matthew Jordan; great-grandson, Liam Jordan; and many extended family members and lifelong friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to The CART Fund, which supports research to end Alzheimer's disease.
Pat lived her life with style, laughter, and love, and her legacy is one of joy, loyalty, and brilliance. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Pat, please visit our floral store.
