Patricia McDowell "Patti" Desmarais

Patricia McDowell Desmarais "Patti", age 75, of Panama City Beach, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 3, 2025.
Patti was a proud 1968 graduate of Rutherford High School. Over the years, she worked in retail sales, where her friendly smile and kind spirit touched many. She had a deep love for the beach and dolphins, always finding peace and joy in the sound of the waves. Above all, Patti cherished every moment spent with her family and friends, who brought endless happiness to her life.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Janine Ribotet and Kile LeRoy McDowell; sister, Marie France Smith; brother, Kile Jack McDowell; nephew, Jamie Albritton.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Steven (Sue); Thomas Honey and his family; Latrelle McDowell; Nicole Coltrane (Wayne), Nicholas McDowell (Jamie), Noelle Kahlenbeck (Todd), Nydia Ganas (Garrett) and their families. Jenni Albritton, Brian Albritton (Jenny) and their families, Charles and Julie Kent and family, and Donna Faye Long and family. Patti is also survived by a host of lifelong friends who were dear to her.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home, with Pastor Jason Lowrey officiating. Patti will be laid to rest at Oakland Cemetery.
