Roy "Lynn" Paul

Roy "Lynn" Paul, 71, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. He was born on January 31, 1954, and was a lifelong resident of Panama City.
Lynn was a 1972 graduate of Rutherford High School and a member of First United Methodist Church of Panama City.
From a young age, Lynn worked alongside his father at AMW Trailers, eventually taking over the business in the 1990s, where it continues to operate today.
He met the love of his life, Darlene, in high school, and together they built a beautiful life and raised two daughters. Lynn was a devoted husband and father who never missed a moment that mattered. When he became a grandfather, that same dedication continued-he was always there to cheer on his grandchildren at soccer games, gymnastic meets, dance recitals, and baseball games.
Lynn loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drag racing, but some of his favorite times were spent at Mossy Pond, where he loved hosting unforgettable fish fries and putting on fireworks shows for family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lounette Paul; grandmother, Mo; sister, Diane Quinlan; and niece, Shonie LeDuc.
Those left to treasure his memory include his loving wife of 50 years, Darlene Paul; daughters, Stacy Vineyard and husband Eric, and Kristy Jones and husband Paul; grandchildren, Blake, Chase, and Ryan Vineyard (Jenna), Savannah, Mikayla, and Michael Jones; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends. Lynn is also survived by his beloved grand-pets, Bella, Oakleigh, Bruce Wayne, Timber, and Buster.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 8, 2025, at First United Methodist Church of Panama City. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 A.M., with Dr. Jeremy Pridgeon and Rev. Carl Fountain officiating. Interment will take place at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Taylor, Roger Smith, Jesse Smith, Mike Odom, Mike Branning, and Greg Domico. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Phillips, Carl "Possum" Poston, Don Messer,
Tres Downum, Lowel Russ, Bobby Nowell, Larry Bruner, Tom Fillyaw, Tommy Loftin, Bill Dozier, Michael Bruner, Charles Spence, RJ Junker, and Tony Seaborn.
