Private Family Funeral Services for Patricia Ann Wilson Jeselink will be held May 31, 2024 from 3:30-4:30 pm at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, Louisiana; Grandson (Bro.) Stephen Jeselink, II will preside. Interment of her cremains will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale, Georgia in the days to follow.
Patricia was born October 8, 1941 in Savannah, Georgia and passed on to her heavenly home on May 30, 2024. Patricia succumbed to long-term effects of a stroke, COPD and an Acute Rapid onset of Dementia.
After living in Texas for much of the last 20 years, she moved back to Louisiana two years ago to be around her other kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her family and binge watching the INSP channel in hopes of seeing an old western movie for the first time.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Carlton E. Wilson, Sr. and Ethel Mae Burgsteiner Wilson, her sister Judy Wilson Salter, her husband Jerry E. Jeselink, her son Carlton S. Jeselink, and her grandson Michael Dustin Jeselink. Patricia is survived by brothers Carlton E. Wilson, Jr. (Diane) of Summerville, S.C. and Michel Wilson (Amy) also of Summerville, S.C.; her sister Brenda Gayle Gapac (Willie) of Ellabelle, GA.; additionally, she is survived by her sons Cecil Perry Jeselink and wife Raejeana; Stephen E. Jeselink, Sr. and wife Barbara; Leslie Michael Jeselink and wife Mary Jane; and Kenneth Scott Jeselink and wife Wendy; 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Ridgecrest Community Care Center and Allegiance Hospice for the care they provided their mother during this trying time.
