Patricia "Patty" Kane, who left this world far too soon on May 1, 2025, age 69. Born on June 1, 1955, to the late Palmer and Dorothy Nelson McCall. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Allen E. Kane and her son Mark Eugene Kane and a nephew Adam Glover.
Patty brought endless light and laughter to everyone who knew her. Her bright spirit and joyful energy could turn an ordinary day into something unforgettable. She loved the Mountains being outdoors and working with all of her flowers. Patty was very crafty and enjoyed spending hours making things. Before owning her own House Cleaning Business, she worked for over 18 years in the daycare industry. Patty was a person who never met a stranger and shared a smile with everyone. A very gentle and kind spirit. She had a heart as big as her imagination, and her presence will be missed more than words can say.
Patty is survived by her loving family her daughter Michelle Regina Kane. Her sisters Betsy Freeman (Randall) and Kathy Hose (Eddie) One brother Phil McCall two grandchildren Gloria Clark and Ryan Clark (Ashley). Three great grandchildren Melia, Ava and Armani. Along with several cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Her memory will live on in the stories we share, the love we carry forward, and the small moments of joy that remind us of her sweet soul.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Patty's life Tuesday May, 6th 2025, from 2:00 until 4:00 at Smoky Mountain Cremations and Funeral Service 3732 Soco Road, Maggie Valley, NC 28751. All who knew and loved her knows that her favorite color was purple and if you would like to wear purple in memory of Patty you are welcome too. Officiating will be Pastor David Merrell. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Though her time here was short, Patty left a lifetime of love in our hearts.
