Patricia Helen Lunardon

Patricia H. Lunardon, 78, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, at Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital in Dixon, IL, with her husband and daughter by her side. Known affectionately as Pat, she was passionate about everything she did and was always ready to help & support everyone she loved. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Pat was born on July 20, 1946, to Charles F. and Dorothy M. (Stayton) Herman in Mendota, IL. She recently celebrated her 57th wedding anniversary with her husband, Frankie J. Lunardon with whom she has one daughter. She was lovingly known as "Meme" by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She dedicated 24 years to the Oregon school district as a bus driver and was actively involved in her church for many years. Pat also participated in ladies' groups and the neighborhood board and was a devoted friend and family member. She always said, "Yes, I will," then figured out how to make it happen.
Pat is survived by her husband Frankie J. Lunardon, her daughter Kim (Jeff) Brown, her grandchildren; Jessica (Zach) Eccles, Quentin (Jordan) Brown, and Whitney (Justin) Woolbright, as well as her three great-grandchildren; James, Hazel, and Brynna Eccles. She is also survived by two brothers, John Herman & David Herman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Eykamp.
The family expresses their gratitude for the tremendous love and support received from family & friends during this painful time. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home. The memorial visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Jack Briggs. Cremation rites have already been accorded.
After the service, all are invited to join the family for lunch at the Elks Lodge, located at 1279 Franklin Grove Road, Dixon, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
