Patricia Grace Sherlock

Patricia Pat Grace Sherlock (nee Smith), age 83, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the devoted daughter of the late Walter P. and Elizabeth (nee Barnes) Smith.
With a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck, Pat loved her family and friends greatly. She truly enjoyed making them happy, whether it was by baking them brownies; sending a supportive card or letter; or simply chatting on the phone. She was there for those she loved, while always being open to strangers who would become her friends. Strong, yet gentle, Pat was also glamorous, never leaving home without lipstick and earrings. Home to her was Delaware County where she spent her entire life trying out the latest hair salon, visiting her many friends, and joyfully serving the Lord.
Pat was the loving mother of Mary Pat Brough (Mike) and Alice Sherlock; adoring grandmother of Michael (Alicia), Jack (Mara), and Matt (Elise); and caring great-grandmother of Michael, Desmond, Jackson, Betty Lou, and Charlie. She is predeceased by her beloved sisters Bette Wozniak and Peggy Murphy.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:30-11:30 AM Thursday, September 1, 2022, at New Hope Christian Church, 551 Paxon Hollow Rd., Broomall, PA 19008, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:30 AM.
