Patricia J. Westerfield of Redlands, passed away at home on April 28, 2024. She was born on November 27,1935, the youngest of three children to Earnest W. and Winifred Jackson in Glendora, California. Patricia graduated from the University of Redlands where she was associated with Alpha Theta Phi sorority and met her future husband David A. Westerfield. They were married just shy of 65 years when he passed away in 2022. She had a career as an elementary school teacher for the San Bernardino School system. She was also a community volunteer as a Patroness for her sorority, Poll Worker including hosting polling sites at their house, Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts, member of The Junior Women of the Contemporary Club, docent at Kimberly Crest House & Gardens and served two terms as Regent and was awarded Honorary Regent for the Arrowhead Valley Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed travelling.
She is survived by her five children and their spouses: David W. Westerfield (Lisa), Lynne E. Mast (Jay), Thomas W. Westerfield (Michele), Michael M. Westerfield (Kelly) and Scott D. Westerfield (Carey), fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Grandchildren: D.J., Matthew, Taylor, Timothy, Blake, Jack, Logan, Bri, & Des Westerfield; Kaitlin Gorman, Amanda Piercy, Allison and Andrew Mast, Kelsey Booth, and Madison Shea. Great-grandchildren: Mackenzie & Dean Booth and Henry & Theodore Gorman
