Patricia Sheridan Wood

A Graveside Service will be held for Patricia Sheridan Wood on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Augusta Cemetery in Augusta, Texas. Bro. Leon Wallace will officiate the service.
Patricia, a cherished member of her family and a dedicated professional in retail furniture sales, passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on March 8, 1939, Patricia was known for her warm spirit and unwavering dedication to her work and family.
Throughout her career, Patricia found joy in helping customers create beautiful spaces in their homes, displaying an innate talent for understanding their needs and preferences. Her contributions to the retail furniture industry left a lasting impression on both clients and colleagues alike.
Patricia is survived by her beloved sons, William Wood III "Trey" and his wife Kelly, and Michael Todd Wood; daughter, Margaret Susan Byars "Susie" and her husband Don. She took immense pride in her family, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Jessica, Hunter, Taylor, Emily, and Jonah. Her legacy continues with her great-grandchildren, Blakely, Ruby, Weston, Scarlett, Violet, and Lily, who brought her great joy and laughter in her later years. Patricia's life was enriched by her siblings, including her brothers, Mike Sheridan and Bill Sheridan, along with their spouses, Mary and Emily, respectively. Patricia's role as a devoted, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was at the center of her life, forged in love and shared experiences.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ney Sheridan and Margaret Sheridan; and her brother Richard Sheridan, each of whom she held dear in her heart.
As we remember Patricia, we honor the time spent with her, the lessons she imparted, and the love she freely shared with all. Her memory will forever remain a guiding light in the lives of those she leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Patricia to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
