Patrick H Denier Jr.

Patrick H. Denier Jr., 68, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2023, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Pat was born on January 21, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Patrick Sr. and Marlene (Applegate) Denier. He lived in Colerain Township for most of his life and attended St. James School and graduated from Colerain High School.
Pat's life was forever changed when he was hit by a car as a teenager, but he didn't let that stop him from pursuing an adventurous life. He went skiing in the Alps and sailed the Greek Isles, earned his private pilot's license, and rode motorcycles. In recent years he enjoyed attending the symphony, opera, and other performances with his partner Jani.
Anyone who knew Pat knew that he considered his children to be his greatest achievement. He was proud of all their accomplishments and supported them through every challenge. He was always happy to share his knowledge and his tools - as long as you put them back where they belonged. Pat was delighted to be a grandpa and was fortunate enough to meet his newest grandson prior to his passing.
Pat worked in the family business, J.C. Denier Co., for most of his life and became owner in 2012. He was pleased to see his son Justin succeed him as owner of the business.
Pat is survived by his devoted partner of many years, Jani Butler; his children Kristen (Nicholas Cristofaro), Jarett (Sarah Barrial), and Justin (Kate); his grandchildren Calvin Cristofaro and Franklin Denier. He is preceded in death by his parents Patrick H. Denier Sr. and Marlene Denier.
