Patrick A. DeSerio

Patrick A. DeSerio, age 57, was born in Canton on June 5, 1967, and passed away on May 23, 2025.

He was a proud graduate of Canton South High School in 1986.

Patrick spent over 30 years working at The Workshops, Inc (TWI) in the Stark County area.

He was a member of St. Anthony Church (St. Francis’s of Assisi Parish).

Patrick was a collector of angel statues and was known for gifting people at TWI with his angels, along with numerous other people in his neighborhood and church. He loved to listen to all types of music and wouldn’t be found without his reliable radio, which he would listen to all the time. Patrick also enjoyed playing video games, watching television game shows and gambling. He was known for saving up his money for trips to Mountaineer Casino, slot machines were his favorite.

Preceded in death by, his grandparents, and his identical twin brother Michael S. DeSerio.

Patrick will be missed deeply by his mother, Marlene A. (Dureska) DeSerio; aunts, June Trubisky and Louise Stropki; first cousins, Rick Trubisky, Ron Trubisky, Lori (Mark) Morris, Lisa (Mike) Mangeris and Don (Lisa) Stropki and numerous great cousins.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday May 28, 2025, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 1530 11th St. SE, Canton, OH 44707. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Father Frederick “Fritz” Schlueter as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Francis’s of Assisi Parish in memory of Patrick.
