RUTLAND Patrick M. Minogue, 69, passed away on January 6, 2024.
He was born on January 20, 1954, the son of Frank and Edith (Fee) Minogue.
Patrick was a graduate of Rutland High School in 1972 and from Vermont Technical College in 1976. He also attended Stratham Tech and Concord Tech, both in New Hampshire.
He worked as a technical aid for ACF Engineering, Aronson, Olson, and Wright Engineering. He also worked as a technical drafter for Eckhart Engineering of Dover, NH and Rasco Auto Parts of Dover, NH. Most recently, he worked for the Wal-Mart Company of Rutland, VT for 22 years, retiring due to health issues.
Patrick enjoyed alpine and cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, GPS-ing, reading, and the company of family and friends. His travels took him to California, Arizona, Neveda, and Florida. He would visit famous places, national parks, and while in California and Arizona, he was able to visit a movie studio.
He is predeceased by both parents and by his older brother, Lawrence H. Minogue.
He is survived by his brother William F. "Diamond Bill" Minogue of Murrells Inlet, SC and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be no service at this time.
Arrangements were made under the care of Clifford Funeral Home.
