Patrick William O'Connor, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 4, 2005, in Cleveland, Ohio after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born on September 17, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, Patrick was a beacon of strength and love throughout his life, embodying the values he held dear.

Throughout his distinguished career in numerous executive positions in the industrial electronics industry, Patrick was known for his commitment to excellence and ability to inspire those around him. His colleagues often spoke of his integrity, leadership, and genial wit that he brought to the workplace.

Yet above all his professional accomplishments, it was his family that remained his proudest achievement. Patrick’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his loving wife of 51 years, Deborah (née Lee) O'Connor of Chardon, and their cherished daughters: Kathleen (Nathaniel) George of Hudson, a devoted mother whose strength and kindness reflect her father’s example, and Meghan O'Connor of Concord, whose compassion and dedication to helping others made him immensely proud. Patrick cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and was devoted to his grandchildren, Austin Lloyd and Declan George, whose laughter and joy were a source of great pride and happiness for him. He was a devoted brother to Brian (Lori Kristy) O'Connor, who stood by him throughout life's journey. Patrick's parents, William H. and Lucille (nee: Lang) O'Connor, predeceased him, but their love and values shaped the man he became.

The family will receive guests on September 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, located at 401 North Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024. Mass at 10:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon at the church.

Patrick leaves behind a vibrant legacy of love, resilience, and devotion, inspiring all who were fortunate enough to know him. As we gather to remember this remarkable man, we hold tightly to the wonderful memories and the profound impact he had on our lives. His spirit will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him dearly.
