His tailgate BBQ's were legendary and were welcoming to all. Section D was the place to go for good food, fun, lots of laughter, and most importantly, serious pre game sports talk. You were welcome to his BBQ even if you rooted for the opposing team, as that made the conversation even better.

Patrick peacefully departed from this world knowing how much he was loved by all of his family, childhood friends, and former colleagues that he held near and dear to his heart.
