Paul B. Schuh, 85, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Frontida Memory Care in Kimberly. He was born on January 15, 1940, in Freedom, WI. He was the sixth of twelve children born to Ignatius and Martha (Verhagen) Schuh. Paul was a craftsman by trade and enjoyed working in construction. One of his favorite hobbies was working with his hands in his “fix it” shop in the garage. Paul could fix anything he put his mind to. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, cutting wood, neighborhood get togethers, and watching the Brewers and Packers. Most important to him, was spending time with his family. He was the best husband, father, grandpa, and papa. Anytime a child was around, they never left without a treat.
Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary (Huss) Schuh; 4 children: Mark Schuh; Laura and Pat De Bruin, Barb and Timm Weyenberg; Paula and Dave Fisher; 11 grandchildren: Tony Schuh, Erica (Jake) Brittnacher, Izzy (Chris) Killeen, Jake (special friend Emma) De Bruin, Trevor De Bruin, Jason (Kacie) Weyenberg, Derek (Ally) Weyenberg, Austin (fiancé Tara) Weyenberg, Briana, Alyson and Mitchel Fisher; 12 great-grandchildren: Nixon Schuh, Gabe, Luke, Ava and Amelia Brittnacher; Rylee and Callen Killeen; Fallon and Taytum Weyenberg; Jonah, Henley and Crew Weyenberg; brothers: Dan Schuh, Bob Schuh, Tom (Carolyn) Schuh; sisters: Dot (Jim) Appleton, Carol (Vern) Frederickson, and, Pat (Bob) Schuh; and sisters-in-law Mary Schuh and Helen Huss..
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws John and Florence Huss; siblings: Arlene, Don, Margaret Ann, Jerry and Mike; in-laws: Frannie, Barb and Ginny.
Memorial services will be held at Wichmann Funeral Home – JANSEN FARGO; 204 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly WI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM until the time of the service at 5:00 PM.
Special thanks to Dave and Paula Fisher for taking such good care of dad before moving to Frontida Memory Care. Also, a special thanks to all the staff members at Frontida and Compassus Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.
