Paul pursued his education at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, laying the foundation for a diverse career path. He spent many years working in the insurance industry before transitioning to work as an industrial mechanic for large corporations, where his practical skills and dedication served him well. He worked for the Industrial Korger bakery for many years.
Paul passed away peacefully at the Laurels of Mount Vernon, OH. He leaves behind his stepson, Jordan Mahaffey and his brother Mark Driftmyer, who will cherish the memories of a man who weathered life's storms with quest strength and dignity.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife Pamela G. Driftmyer and his parents.
A Memorial Service will take place on October 31, 2025 at Dowds – Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050 at 1:00pm.
