Paul Mark Jones passed away on Thursday May 9, 2024 at Western Reserve Hospital at the age of 62.
 
Paul is survived by his children, Adam Jones, Jessica Jones, and Carrie Henderson, his stepfather James Wells, and his siblings Kimberly Bishoff, Steven Jones, Jim Wells Jr., Shane Wells, David Wells, and Ralph Jones and wife Diane. He is survived by his 8 grandchildren that he loved dearly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald Paul Jones and Mildred Marie (Kight) Wells, and his siblings, Dennis Jones, Danny Wells, Darlene Petrey, and Fred Wells.
 
Paul was born on January 20, 1962 in Barberton, Ohio. He worked as a Purchasing Manager at multiple companies for many years. Paul was an accomplished guitarist and piano player. He had a passion for and loved to listen to all genres of music. He loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and was a certified scuba diver. Paul was a very active father who was involved in his children’s sports and many other activities when they were young. His biggest accomplishment in life was the love that he had for his children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
 
The family wants to extend their sincerest gratitude to the people that took the time to visit, call, and check on Paul during his time of sickness.
 
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 P.M with a service to follow at 6:00 P.M at Home Missionary Baptist Church at 1922 Oakes Drive, Akron, Ohio 44312.  Pastor Keith Emhoff officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
