Paul Victor 'Vic' Kropf, Jr., 78, of Hutchinson, died June 22, 2023, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born November 5, 1944, in Coldwater, KS, to Paul Victor, Sr. and Lela (Byram) Kropf.
Vic graduated from Coldwater High School and a business college. He worked for Grede Foundries as an industrial engineer. Vic enjoyed watching and participating in sports, such as, golf, fishing, and coaching baseball. He liked to play card games. When Vic was younger, he loved to ski, camp, hike, and bowl. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
On June 12, 1965, he married Terry Sue Huck, in Coldwater. They shared over 49 years of marriage, before her death on June 7, 2015, just five days before their 50th anniversary.
Vic is survived by: son, Chad (Jenny) Kropf of Hutchinson; daughter, Michelle Shaw of Inman, KS; grandchildren, Ryan Shaw of Hutchinson, Zachary (Krysta) Shaw of Inman, Adalynn Kropf of Hutchinson, and Elam Kropf of Hutchinson; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Athena of Inman.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife; and son-in-law, Jack Shaw.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
