Paul Richard Markoff age 96 passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Wesley Ridge Retirement Community. He was a retired accountant for DCSC where he worked for over 20 years. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the US Navy. He was a longtime member of Brookwood Presbyterian Church and a current member of Unity Presbyterian Church. He was a violinist in the Jewish Center Symphony Orchestra for 9 years and Capital University/Bexley Community Orchestra for 13 years. Paul enjoyed playing bridge, gardening and listening to Big Band music with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Marcella Markoff, twin-sons Adam and George Markoff, brother, Ray Markoff. and parents, Carl and Elsie Markoff.
He is survived by children, Elizabeth Markoff, Pamela (Ron) Nutter, Paul (Andrea) Markoff Jr., Daniel Markoff; grandchildren Jake and Josie Nutter, Grace and Claire Markoff. Friends may call Tuesday, April 23, 2024, 4-7 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where the funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024, 10:30 AM. Interment Glen Rest Cemetery.
There will also be a luncheon at Unity Presbyterian Church (6969 E. Livingston Ave) at 12:30PM. The family hopes you will join them for lunch and share some memories.
