Paul F. Radcliffe

Paul F. Radcliffe, 99 of Clifton, New Jersey, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on May 25, 1926, in Paoli, Indiana, he was the son of the late Daniel and Bernadine (Simon) Radcliffe. A 1942 graduate of Paoli High School, he earned his bachelor's degree from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana in 1948. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II from 1944-1946. Stationed in Europe, he held the rank of Private First Class.

On June 11, 1948, Paul married Susan Oettinger, who predeceased him in 2017 after 68 years of marriage. Their marriage began a long family legacy that remained the center of his life. He was the founder and longtime CEO of Dentistry Today, which he established in Montclair in 1981. Through his leadership, the publication became a widely recognized voice in the dental profession and served as an important resource for dentists across the country.

Paul is survived by his four sons: John Radcliffe and wife Betsy of Pittsburgh, PA, Richard Radcliffe and wife Laura of Winnetka, IL, James Radcliffe and wife Lisa of Montville, and Robert Radcliffe of Clifton; by six grandchildren: Mark, John, Lauren, Meghan, Paige, and Brooke; by eight great grandchildren: Leo, Hailey, Abby, Sylvie, Reid, William, Esther, and Ava and by a brother Duane Radcliffe and wife Mary Alice of Paoli, IN. He was also predeceased by a brother Charles Radcliffe and by a sister Rosemary Noble.

Funeral services will be held 11:30AM Wednesday, March 11th at Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Road, Clifton, NJ 07012 followed by burial at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Upper Montclair. Visiting hours are Wednesday morning 10-11:30AM.
