Paul John Schroeder, 64, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 3, 2025, at his home. He was born March 23, 1961, in Green Bay, son of the late Paul and Margaret (Prechter) Schroeder. Paul graduated from Premontre High School in 1979. Before his health no longer allowed, Paul worked in the flooring and painting industry as well as window installation for various companies in Green Bay.
In his younger years Paul enjoyed hunting with his father, camping, watching NASCAR, and having a beer with his friends.
He will be deeply missed by his loving sister and brother-in-law who were his faithful caretakers, Becky and Vince McCormick; 4 aunts: Anne (Timothy) Monday, Mary Kay (Ralph Perry) Gerbers, Kay Prechter, and Linda Prechter; many cousins; step-son, Josh Colburn; and friends.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by grandparents, Mary Ellen and Lloyd Schroeder, and Germaine and John Prechter; uncles: David Prechter, John Prechter and Keith Prechter; and his dogs, Hatter and Gerbil.
Family and friends may visit Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9 a.m. until the hour of Memorial Service at 11 a.m.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to special neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Buyarski, all the drivers from Arms of Angels who became his friends, his Bellin therapists, Katie,Ty, and Dane, Lakeland Care and all the great caregivers that helped him remain in his home, ADRC meals on wheels who always made sure he was o.k., and friends who kept in touch with him daily.
