Paul Terry Smith

Paul Terry Smith, age 64, ran through the pearly gates on Monday, December 23, 2024. Paul was born on December 18, 1960 in Barberton, Ohio. Born to Mickey K (Terry) Smith and Virgil T Smith, Jr and a lifelong resident of Wadsworth Ohio. Paul foremost was a devoted and faithful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He raised the bar and moral compass, setting an exemplary example of how to live life with a fierce love for his family and compassion towards others, always following the golden rule.
Graduating Wadsworth High School in 1979 Paul was an avid car enthusiast, always in pursuit of his "need for speed," a true gearhead at heart. Always tinkering, customizing & building. Paul could tackle any project no matter the scale of difficulty.
Paul worked at Prairie Farms, formally Reiter Dairy, for 36 years. He was a commercial truck driver, originally working in the dairy processing plant for many years; he made many friends there and was an active member of Teamsters Local 348. Paul was a devoted employee, rarely missing a day of work in support of his greatest passion, his family.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister Merilee K. (Smith) Mills; survived by wife of 42 years and high school sweetheart, Linda M., (Data) son's Nicholas T. and Stephen P. (Jessica), granddaughter's Eleanor Rose (Ellie) and newborn baby girl Riley Rose Terry, who arrived three days after his passing. Siblings; Virgil T. III (Norma); Anna M. Shields (Daniel); Dennis R. (Amy); many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Paul will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be conducted 7PM Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 5-7pm.
