Paul A. Turchetta, 75, of Cranston, passed away February 15, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Karen (Lovegreen) Turchetta. They were married for 38 wonderful years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alexander and Frances (Noti) Turchetta, and the brother of the late Alexander "Sandy" Turchetta Jr.
Paul worked in the hospitality industry for many years until his retirement. Paul had a true passion for cooking, and enjoyed creating his personal recipes for family and friends. He was an avid sports fan, making many family trips to Yankee Stadium in New York. However, of all of his loves and passions, his family was foremost.
He is survived by his wife and a large and loving family. He was a deeply devoted father to his daughters: Gina M. Cabeceiras (Manny) of Massachusetts, and Erika Stetson (Maricho) of Pennsylvania; brother to his dear sister, Gail Cota (Joe) of Cranston; and grandfather, or "Poppy", to Alexis Cabeceiras and Kim Villanueva; as well as an adored uncle to his nieces: Kristin Turchetta, Stephanie Bucci, and Amanda Chew; and his nephew, Michael Turchetta. He also was the beloved uncle of many great-nieces and great-nephews. Anyone would be truly blessed to have an "Uncle Paul."
His visiting hours will be Sunday February 26th from 12-2 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Autism Project.

My deepest sympathy to you, Karen, Gina and family. I have so many great memories of Paul through the years. Especially the fun times at the church, and our home, playing cards and other board games. Even though it was a long time ago now, our friendship never faded. We always picked up right where we left off. He and my Joe and a few others they both knew and loved are all together again with our Lord. A special friendship and a special blessing! Paul always had such a loving and caring heart. I know he will be missed by so many. My prayers to you all. May God bless and strengthen you through this difficult time. With love and hugs.
