Paul L. Washington July 11, 1952-June 11, 2025
Paul Lorenzo Washington, a loving son, brother, uncle and friend passed into eternal rest on June 11, 2025. He was born on July 11, 1952 in Stafford County Virginia. His life was filled with love, laughter, and an unshakeable commitment to family and friends. Paul was educated in Stafford County Public School. A graduate of Stafford High School, Paul gained many lifelong friendships.
Paul dedicated much of his career as a city worker for the City of Fredericksburg where he worked until retirement. Paul found joy in working hard, cutting grass and enjoying spending time with his family and friends. When he worked for the city he had a nickname was " Jack Rapper" Paul joined Union Bell Baptist Church in Stafford, Virginia at an early age. He leaves behind his siblings, Frank Washington and Lena Allen (Henry) of Fredericksburg, VA, Hattie Washington of Spotsylvania VA, his nieces, Therisa Adams(Champ), Chistel Taylor of Stafford, VA, LaVonne Washington of Spotyslvania, Virginia and a nephew Ryneal Allen(Angela) of Stafford VA. His Great nieces, Tamyra Johnson (Jimmy), Iesha Adams(Carlos), RyNaysha Allen, Marissa Lynch all of Fredericksburg Virginia, Great Nephews, Eric Lynch & Tyhiem Washington both of Fredericksburg VA. 6 great-great nephews and 4 great- great nieces, along with a numerous cousins and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lucy Washington and brother, James Washington. Events
Paul's life was a testament to faith, family, and service. He was one that would help you in any way he could. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his unwavering love, gentle sprit and tireless devotion to those he cherished.
