Paul Bingham Willingter

Paul Bingham Willingter Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on July 17, 2024. He grew up in St. Matthews, Kentucky and went to Mayme S. Waggener High School. Paul was an amazing trumpeter and trained under Leon Rapier at the University of Louisville. He was hand selected from musicians throughout the United States to be a part of the Pierre Monteux School and Music Festival in Hancock, Maine the summer of 1969 and is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Music. He got his degree in Music
Education.
He loved classical music, jazz, nature and travel. He especially loved New York City.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel Bennora Willingter and his father, Paul Bingham Willingter, Sr. He is survived by his sister, Jenny Scott Willingter of Houston, Texas, her spouse, Pamela Ann Minich, of Mansfield, Ohio and his very dear friends, Robin and Edward Farrar of Louisville.

The graveside service will be at Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40205 at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
