Paulette Clark Brewer

Paulette Clark Brewer, 80, of Jamestown, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Authoracare Collective Hospice Home in Burlington, NC.

Born on February 5, 1945, in High Point, NC, Paulette was the daughter of the late Gilbert Clark and the late Melba Young. She was known for her contagious laugh, joyful spirit, and giving heart. A devoted wife, mother, and Nana, Paulette poured love into her family and extended that same warmth to countless others. She was a second mom to her children's friends and became "Nana" to many of her grandchildren's friends as well.

Paulette had a gift for making others feel seen and loved. She delighted in giving gifts, sharing sweets at church, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. She was a faithful friend, a passionate prayer warrior, and a woman deeply rooted in her love for the Lord. Her legacy is one of joy, kindness, and unwavering faith.

In addition to her parents, Paulette is preceded in death by Mrs. Garnet Clark, who faithfully raised her, honorary parents, Quentin and Mae Hodgin and sister, Wanda Dills.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Don Brewer; daughter, Cheryl Martin and husband David; son, Donald Brewer and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Grant Martin and wife Cayla, Kayla Moore and husband Connor, Autumn Brewer, Sarah Brewer, Alex Brewer; brother, Terry Clark and wife Denise; sister-cousins, Barbara Smith and husband Keith, Carolyn Howard and husband Randy; brother-in-law, Joe Dills and many other special friends who love and miss her dearly.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the caregivers who loved and cared for Paulette, Alea McRorie and Leann Shoffner and Hospice Home of Burlington.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 9, 2025, in the High Point Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service with Pastor John Vernon and Jerry Farlow officiating. The committal will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 10:45 am prior to the service.
