Sean was born on April 5, 1977, in Greensboro and he attended Ragsdale graduating in the class of 1996. Sean went on to graduate from UNCG and devoted his working life to helping others to get healthy through his personal fitness training business. He loved good food, and he was especially fond of his wife, Mimi's cooking. He wanted to see the world and visited many countries including Greece, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Germany, Scotland, France, Italy, Antigua, Turkey and more. Sean never met a stranger and loved connecting with others. He had a unique ability of making everyone feel like they were truly special and one of his best friends. He had a childlike curiosity with vast interests and could converse intelligently about any subject. Sean was an avid sports enthusiast and passionately enjoyed Carolina Tar Heel basketball with his wife Mimi, who was the center of his world.
Sean is survived by his loving wife, Mimi, their children, Charlotte Williams of Julian and Dawson Williams of Ithaca; fur babies, Sampson and Ginger Harvell; his father, George Harvell of Gibsonville; his sister, Kellie O'Brien (John) and nieces Georgia and Kayden; his cousin, Tracy Scoggins of McLeansville. The vast number of Sean's friends could fill an athletic field. While there are too many to list, know that he treasured each of you. He is preceded in death by his devoted mother Janice Elkins Avery and his father-in-law, Glenn Redmond.
Sean loved everyone with his whole heart without boundaries or judgement. He was an active member of New Day Church of High Point.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 18th at 9:30am at New Day Church of High Point located at 8610 Bame Rd. in Colfax, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Elijah Streams ministries or New Day Church of High Point.
