Amanda Hunt Alford, 52, of Trinity, NC, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. Born on March 27, 1973, in Greensboro, NC, Amanda was a lifelong resident of the area and a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Hunt, who passed away in 2009.

Amanda is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years, Kevin Eugene Alford of Trinity, NC, whom she married on May 24, 1997. She is also survived by her children, Cameron Jordan Alford of Trinity, and Caitlyn Rose Foushee and husband Ethan of Winston-Salem, NC. Her loving mother, Irma Hunt, and her brother, David Allen Hunt of Archdale, NC, also survive her.

Amanda was a faithful member of Laurel Oak Christian Church in High Point, NC, where she generously volunteered her time as a sign language interpreter. Her dedication to her faith and community was matched by her vibrant personality and boundless energy.

She had a passion for shopping, antiquing, and decorating, always bringing creativity and charm to everything she touched. Amanda also enjoyed watching murder mystery TV shows, delighting in the suspense and intrigue. Her family remembers her as the life of the room-outgoing and full of warmth. As her daughter Caitlyn lovingly said, Amanda "never met a stranger," and her son Cameron described her as "a star that just shined bright."

Amanda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Laurel Oak Christian Church in High Point, NC, with Pastor Jerry Dowdy officiating. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.

Amanda's legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
