Pauline Ann (D'Errico) Johnson, a lifelong resident of Maynard, passed away peacefully at her home Friday, April 25, 2025, with her family by her side. She was eighty-five years old. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Johnson for fifty-nine years.
Pauline was born in Concord, daughter of the late John and Anna (Casey) D'Errico. She spent her whole life in Maynard and was a graduate of Maynard High School with the class of 1958. She was married to her husband Bob in 1966 in St. Bridget's Church and they made their home in Maynard where they would raise their family. She was a long-time employee of Raytheon where she worked as a secretary. She also worked for a time as an art teacher for the former St. Bridget's School in Maynard. A devout Catholic, she volunteered at St. Bridget's Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a true artist and especially enjoyed creating calligraphy. She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed time in the kitchen cooking for family and friends alike. More than anything, Pauline enjoyed the time spent with her family who will all miss her dearly.
In addition to her husband Bob, Pauline is survived by her children Brian Johnson and his wife Stephanie of Marlborough, Douglas Johnson of Maynard and Mary Therriault and her husband Alfred Sr. of Kaneville, IL. She was the loving grandmother of Aimee, Logan, Derek and Luke. She also leaves one sister, Christine McNiff of New Hampshire. Sadly, in addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Gerard D'Errico.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, May 1st from 5:00PM-700PM at the Acton Funeral Home 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rte. 111) Acton. Burial in St. Bridget's Cemetery will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions in Pauline's memory to the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur Development Office 351 Broadway Everett, MA 02149.
