Peggy Ann Holtz, age 76, of Norfolk, VA, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, to take her well-deserved place with her Lord and Savior. Peggy had long awaited the day she could be reunited with her husband, Gerald (Jerry) L. Holtz, and her daughter, Nikki Blackburn. While we know they are rejoicing together in heaven, her passing has left a void among those who loved her.
Peggy is survived by her son, Chris Michal Tatterson, and his wife, Marsha, of Mannington, WV; three grandchildren, Kristen Staley of Norfolk, VA, Hunter Tatterson (and his wife, Sarah), of Chesapeake, VA, and Reegan Kisner of Mannington, WV. She also leaves behind one sister, Linda Easter, and her husband, James, of Ripley, WV, as well as three brothers: Don Ramsey of Edray, WV, Samual Ramsey of Buckeye, WV, and Johnny Ramsey of Winfield, WV. Peggy is also remembered by several nieces and nephews.
To know Peggy was to love her; she never met a stranger who didn't leave as a friend. She loved cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with her family. Throughout the years, Peggy was passionate about being an EMT/Paramedic and owned and operated her own printing company. She embodied strength and wisdom, leaving behind a legacy that we can only aspire to honor.
In addition to her husband and daughter, Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Ramsey; her brother, Robert Ramsey; her sister, Carolyn Odell; and her grandmother, Daisy Ramsey.
In accordance with her wishes, Peggy will be cremated, and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
