Peggy J. Sheridan, age 85, of Wadsworth, formerly of Canton, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 at The Village of St. Edward in Wadsworth.
She was born August 11, 1940, in Watseka, Illinois, the daughter of the late William and Elsie (Hathaway) Chadwick.
She was a member the Red Hat Society. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed puzzles.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Jodi (Sandy) Mitchell; sons, Kevin (Jill) Sheridan and Chad (Audrea) Sheridan; brother, Bill (Cyndi) Chadwick; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and her cat, Howard.
She was preceded in death by husband, David Sheridan who died in 2021; granddaughter, Raychel Sheridan.
Cremation has taken place and her family will celebrate her life at a later date.
Her final place of rest will be North Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stark County Humane Society.
