Timothy Doubledee

Timothy Doubledee, age 70 of Canton, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Mercy Medical Center. Tim was born August 29, 1955 in Akron Ohio and lived in Jackson Twp. He was the beloved son of the late John and Elizabeth (Nellis) Doubledee. Tim attended Jackson High School in Jackson Twp., Ohio and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Canton, Ohio.
Tim was a kind and gentle soul and enjoyed the company of his friends and family throughout his life. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. Those who knew Tim will remember him for his smile and overwhelming laughter. Tim found joy in music, playing guitar, and writing songs.
Timothy is survived by his sister, Deanna Doubledee and brother-in-law Philip Simons of Virginia; numerous cousins and friends.
The family will receive family and friends an hour prior to the service at the church from 9:30a to 10:30a Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel 5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon, OH 44646. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held following visitation at Basilica of St. John the Baptist at St. Peter's Church, 726 Cleveland Avenue N.W. at 11:00 am with Very Reverend Dr. David M. Misbrener celebrant. His final place of rest will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
