Peter Alexander Selinko

Peter Alexander Selinko, 77, of New Hartford, passed away Friday October 20, 2023, at Cypress House at Sitrin Healthcare.
He was born May 17, 1946, in Budapest, Hungary, the son of Alexander and Pauline Selinko. He was educated in Hungary until 10 years old and then attended Whitesboro Schools and graduated from UFA. Following graduation he entered the US ARMY and served for three years.
He married Mary Lou Olander, on September 4, 1976, in the Baptist Church.
Peter was half owner of Dental Systems Group and marketed his products crowns, bridges, and dentures.
He loved golf, writing sales presentations on the computer and spending time enjoying the St. Lawrence River at Cape Vincent with family and friends.
Peter is survived by his wife Mary Lou, his nephews Rick, Ted, Mike Taylor; his nieces Kim, Regan, and Ashley; his great nieces Cheyann, Katrina and Caitlin and great nephews Dustin, Kris, Camryn, Kory, and Kyle. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Pauline Selinko; his in-laws Ted and Dolly Olander; his sister-in-law Judith Hefferon and her son Kevin Hefferon.
The family wishes to thank all the aides at the Cypress House who gave Peter loving care and two very special people Angela and Emily.
Calling hours are on Saturday from 2-4 at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. A service will follow at 4:00 PM.
