Philip W. Connolly, 63, passed away after a brief illness on September 8, 2025. Born on November 26, 1961 in Evergreen Park, IL, Phil was the son of William Michael and Mary Louise (Quinn) Connolly.
Phil proudly graduated with the Plymouth High School Class of 1980. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. In 1993, Phil founded Innovative Composites in Rochester. Phil leaves a legacy of hard work and being generous and caring to others.
Those who knew Phil knew his love for golf along with the passion he held for the Chicago Bears and Notre Dame. Phil enjoyed traveling through the years making memories while visiting Hawaii or taking his grandchildren to Disney.
Phil will be missed by his daughter, Erin Connolly and son-in-law, Bryan Snowberger; grandchildren, Mary Lou and Lilith; his siblings, Jean Birchmeier and Patrick Pearish, Paul and Jennifer Connolly, and Dan and Heather Connolly; life partner, Nicole Leedy and her daughter, Alexis; along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary.
Per Phil’s wishes, cremation has been chosen, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
