Married for 55 years, he is survived by his wife, Julie Lawson Mink. He was the oldest brother of four, father of two, grandfather of two, and uncle of nine.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and continued throughout his life to donate to veteran causes. He was so much to so many, each of whom he left and indelible impression. Phil was willing to do or try nearly anything, especially for someone in need, where he really shined. He was a true jack of all trades, and his talents were as limitless as his endless curiosity. He always had an interesting story to tell from his lifetime of learning and people he's met along the way. He will be dearly missed by anyone who had the good fortune of knowing him.
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet at 5:00pm. The Visitation will take place before the service from 3:00m until service time at 5:00pm.
