Mr. Phobus Pearcy Pace, age 79, of Winder, formerly of Loganville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Manor Lake of Hoschton.
Mr. Pace was born in Cranks Creek, Kentucky. He retired as a maintenance mechanic with HB Fuller Company. Mr. Pace was a man of strong Christian faith. He was a proud supporter of the Bible Broadcasting Network. Above all, he will be best remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Mr. Pace was preceded in death by his parents; Homer Pace and Merle Hensley Bramlett; and three siblings.
Mr. Pace is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Margaret S. Pace of Winder; son, Gregory S. (Amy) Pace of Hoschton; daughter, Nancy (Gene) Trantham of Bowling Green, OH; two sisters, four brothers; six grandchildren, Taylor Pace of Auburn, Blake Pace of Flowery Branch, Emily Smith of Brighton, Michigan, Kaylah Smith of Dearborn, Michigan, Ryan Smith of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Alyssa Smith of Bowling Green, Ohio; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Barrow Memorial Gardens with Rev. Archie Norman and Mr. Larry Segars officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Carter Funeral Home, Winder.
The family has respectfully requested, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Bible Broadcasting Network at PO Box 7300 Charlotte, NC 28241 or online at https://bbn1.bbnradio.org/
