Phyllis L. Blyer, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7th at the age of 91, surrounded by her devoted husband, children, and grandchildren.
Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts in 1934, Phyllis lived a beautiful and fulfilling life marked by kindness, strength, and a deep love for her family. She and her husband, Paul, shared an incredible marriage, just shy of 68 years, building a strong and loving home together.
Phyllis was the proud mother of four children-three sons and one daughter-and the joyful grandmother of 11 grandchildren, each of whom brought her tremendous pride and happiness. She also had a daughter-in-law for 40 years, whom she loved dearly.
For the past 30 years, she made her home in Boca Raton, Florida, where she remained active in her community and surrounded herself with many dear friends. Phyllis was a pillar of strength and the light of her family, always bringing people together with her warmth, compassion, and steady presence.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and deep family bonds that will carry on through the generations she nurtured.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Phyllis's memory may be made to Gilda's Club of South Florida, Wounded Warrior Project, Tunnels to Towers Foundation, or Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida. You are also welcome to support a cause that is meaningful to you in her honor.
Phyllis will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
