Phyllis Friedlein Obituary
She was born September 24, 1947 in Akron to the late Edwin and Nadine Snyder. She graduated from Springfield High School and lived in the Akron area her entire life. Phyllis retired from S.S.P. Fitness and was a member of Lakemore United Methodist Church. She was a loving and giving person, always going out of her way to serve others. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 55 years, Al Friedlein; sons, Edwin (Maria), Herbert (Angie), and Mitchell (Mary); 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received Thursday, February 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Calling hours will also take place Friday, February 4th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Rd. Akron, OH 44312 with a funeral service officiated by Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Memorials can be made in Phyllis' memory to Lakemore United Methodist Church.
