Phyllis Ann Harman Wright

Phyllis Ann Harman Cunningham Peterson Wright, age 65, of Bristol, Tennessee, formerly of Tazewell, Virginia, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at a Johnson City, Tennessee, hospital.
Phyllis was born on January 6, 1958, in Tazewell, Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Roby Graybeal and Polly Clemmons Harman Graybeal. Phyllis was a graduate of Tazewell High School Class of 1976. She assisted in operating the Tazewell Theater and later opened her own store. Phyllis was also a teacher at Tazewell for seven years before moving away. She adored traveling, flying, and stopping at every flea market and casino along the way. Phyllis loved her family and enjoyed hosting family dinners.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rita, and husbands, Timothy Cunningham and Mark Peterson.

The funeral service for Phyllis Wright will be Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Tazewell, Virginia. Entombment will follow at the Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Her children and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
