Robert Carl Shelton, age 45 of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at his home.
Robert was born in Princeton, West Virginia, the son of the late Roger Dale Shelton and Angela Louise Muncy Shelton. After High School, he worked as a mechanic. He loved riding 4-wheelers and motorcycles and being outdoors. He enjoyed working on vehicles and fixing things that were broken. His greatest joy and love were his children and grandchildren.

Sara Shelton and her husband, Jacob Robinett of Tazewell, VA
Alex Carl Shelton and Ashley Mae Shelton are of the home.
Beloved Wife and Mother of his children, Melissa Ann Rose of North Tazewell, VA
Sisters:
Delta Gross and her husband, Keith, of Huntington, WV
Beverly Collett and her husband, Shon of Abingdon, VA
Grandchildren, Isabella Mae Coe and Forrest Allen Robinett
A host of family and friends also survives him.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hurst-Scott Funeral Home for Robert's funeral expenses.
Robert Shelton's funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Tazewell, Virginia, with the Rev. Mike Muncy officiating. Interment will follow at the Hartwell Cemetery in Hartwell, West Virginia. Alex Shelton, Brandon Prater, Tyler Gross, Trever Gross, Shannon Muncy, Shaun Kennedy, Jeremy Rose, Andy Rose, and Josh Horn will be pallbearers. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-9 PM on Monday evening.
