Phyllis Hester, age 64, passed away on November 9, 2025.
She was born on February 8, 1961, in Bradley County and was of the Baptist faith. Throughout her life, Phyllis worked hard and cared deeply for others. She spent many years at Benton Manufacturing and later devoted herself to childcare at Billie the Kids and Angel Wings Daycare, where her gentle nature and kindness touched countless young lives.
Phyllis enjoyed the simple beauty of gardening and flowers, and she cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. Her warm spirit, loving heart, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will forever be remembered.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Frances Hester, and her sister, Eloise Hester.
Left to treasure her memory are her son, Mark Brown; daughter Kelly (Dwight) Moore; and her sister Delores (Carl) Ross. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Austin Dakota Moore (special friend Destin Freeman), Ty Brown, and Warren Brown, each of whom brought her tremendous joy.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
