Phyllis Ann Nichalson, age 86, of Seymour, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025.

Born on March 25, 1939, in Mitchell, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Virgil Paul and Beulah (Leach) Brewster.

Some of Phyllis's fondest memories were traveling the country alongside her late husband, who was a truck driver, sharing in the open road and the many places they explored together. The two also enjoyed setting up flea markets wherever life took them, sharing their time with people wherever they went. She especially loved playing bingo at many different places, always enjoying the fun and friendships it brought. More than anything, she valued the moments spent with her family, who were the center of her life and her greatest joy.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Rick Rose (Amy), Cheryl Rose (Tim), and Randy Rose; grandchildren, Robert Deirth (Sara), Britney Pinnick, Brian Rose, and Emily Rose; and great-grandchildren, Sofia, Atlas, and Knox.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland Nichalson; son, Tim Rose; and brothers, James Brewster and Virgil Brewster.

Private services honoring Phyllis's life and legacy have been entrusted to Voss & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.
