Pierre C. Chakar

Pierre C. Chakar, 77, of Methuen, MA passes away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Whittier Rehabilitation Center in Haverhill, MA. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Chukri and Olga (Madani) Chakar.

Mr. Chakar was raised and educated in Lebanon and worked as a skilled carpenter and interior designer. He immigrated to Lawrence, MA in 1997 and continued working at Chamberlain Cabinet Company. He retired in 2006. He enjoyed spending time with his family here and in Lebanon.

Mr. Chakar was predeceased by his siblings, Jeannette Khoury, Mariette Hajali, Fouad, Rageb, and Rizkallah Chakar.

He is survived by his wife, Aida (Abou Samra) Chakar; his sons, Charbel Chakar and his wife Jessy of Methuen, MA and Chadi Chakar and his wife Nancy of Methuen, MA; his brothers, John Chakar of Lawrence, MA, George Chakar and his wife Sadie of Lawrence, MA and Samir Chakar of Windham, NH. He also leaves his grandchildren, Ella, Brandon, Liam, and Luka, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen, MA. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. George Orthodox Church, 8 Lowell St. Lawrence, MA. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
