Ronald Austin Larrett Tedrow, age 34, of Keosauqua, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 in Ramsey County Minnesota. Per his wishes his body has been cremated.
Austin was born on August 20, 1990 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Leonard "Lenny" Cole and Alice "Jolene" Tedrow. Though their relationship turned out to be less permanent than either expected, Austin's life story went on to include his Dad and mother's life partner, Mark Steele, who played a significant role in his raising.
Austin was a Libertyville native and 2008 graduate of Fairfield High School. After high school be attend Indian Hills Community College to pursue his interest in auto mechanics. After college Austin's passions included hunting, fishing, tinkering on anything he could tear apart and put back together and helping family, friends and neighbors farm and fix machinery. He lived his life as a free spirit and always embraced the adventures life threw at him. He loved spending time with family and friends and was often the entertainment at such gatherings. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
Austin is survived by his dad Mark, father Lenny, sisters Sierra Tedrow (Trinity Hartman), Kaiti Tedrow, Cheyenne Tedrow, Stephanie (Mark) Thomann and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and who all loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother Alice "Jolene" Tedrow, grandparents Ronald Rex Tedrow, Karen Jean Tedrow, Morris Leonard Cole, Martha Karlene Cole, great grandmother Alice Margarie Haas and uncle, Timothy Ronald Tedrow.
A celebration of life will be held from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at The Last Bell (Libertyville Elementary School) located at 202 Jefferson St, Libertyville, Iowa.
Memorials in Austin's honor can be mailed to Stephanie Thomann at PO Box 3, Riverside, IA 52327.
