Rachel M. Long, 32, of London died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 23, 2025, in her residence.
Born December 22, 1992, in Columbus; she was a daughter of Susan (Weber) and William Brown.
A 2011 graduate of London High School, Rachel had owned and operated Pawfect Pups Grooming and Boarding in London. An animal lover at heart, she also was active in rescuing dogs. She was an avid reader and loved attending rock concerts.
She leaves behind her husband of 10 years, Kyle Long; her two daughters Ruby Long and Scarlet Long; mother Susan Brown (Tim Lewis); sister Robyn (Michael) Rubel; nieces Josie and Camille Ruble; aunts and uncles Michael (Sandra) Freday, Janice Zahm, Fred (Christine) Sefert, Bob Weber, Tim Weber and Patrick (Molly) Weber; along with many aunts and uncles from the Brown side of the family; numerous cousins; mother and father-in-law Angela and Darren Long; sisters-in-law and their children Desaree (Ashley) Long and Priscilla and Ryder and Mackenzie (Anthony) Perez and Layla, Vivian, Kingston and Theo; grandmother-in-law Diane Yoakum; many dear friends and her precious four legged kids Autumn and Clifford.
Rachel was preceded in death by her father William and her fur babies Omar, Cocoa, Neno, Earl and Skosh.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in the Cypress Church of London, 2343 US Highway 42, London, with Pastor Jody Pickett officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10 AM until time of services.
Memorials in Rachel's name may be made to either Stop the Suffering (an animal rescue organization) at www.stopthesuffering.org or to Pawfect Pups, 99 West Second Street, London, Ohio 43140, where her business will continue on with the help of Ashley and Mackenzie.
